Disclaimer: I'm rather behind on my reviews, so they will be super brief until I get caught up again.

Previously the only work of du Maurier's I was familiar with was Rebecca and that more the film than the book. As such Jamaica Inn was not quite what I was expecting. It was all more Robert Lewis Stephenson, heavy on the period action. But it moved along at a fair lick and had some interesting and well fleshed out charaters.

110/140: ★★★★☆.

Flag: Saint Piran's cross of Cornwall (which I seem to have failed to take a photo of).

Music: The Sweet Nightingale by Jackie Oates.
